Major Auction of Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina Bank-Owned Real Estate to Span Two Days, Four Cities

ATLANTA, GA, Jan 30, 2012 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- More than 455 properties owned by five different banks will sell Feb. 15-16 in an auction that will be spread over four events in two days. The properties -- which will include office buildings, car washes, land, waterfront home sites and many others -- will be sold in four separate events on Feb. 15 and 16, with John Dixon & Associates managing the sales.

"We have a lot of really attractive investments for those seeking to build up a portfolio, start or expand a business, or acquire attractive residential and commercial property for future building and development. With most of this real estate selling absolute, people are likely to get some great values," said John Dixon, president of the company.

The properties will be grouped into 135 offerings, 130 of which will sell absolute, he said.

The first sale, set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, in Anderson, S.C., will include office buildings in Hartwell, Ga., a residential home site on a golf course in Greenwood, S.C., and lakefront home sites in Georgia and South Carolina.

At 2 p.m. on Feb. 15, an auction in North Charleston, S.C., will include an office/warehouse, a car service center, homes and land.

The third event, at 4 p.m. on Feb. 15 in Young Harris, Ga., will include a six-unit retail/office building, a former day care facility, a 100-unit self storage facility, an office building and a number of lots.

On Thursday, Feb. 16, the John Dixon team will move to Atlanta for the final event. That 11 a.m. event will include both improved and unimproved commercial properties and home sites concentrated in metro Atlanta, along with waterfront residential and commercial land in Carrabelle, Fla. Also selling will be a fully equipped restaurant at Stonecrest Mall in Lithonia, Ga.

Individuals seeking additional information about the properties and event locations may call 770-425-1141 or visit www.johndixon.com .
